11-Day Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari

Upon touchdown at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted with a heartfelt welcome by your friendly guide! From the airport, you’ll be whisked away to your hotel in either Arusha or Kilimanjaro (Moshi), where relaxation awaits. Immerse yourself in the vibrant African ambiance and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. The next day, your thrilling safari journey begins.

After early breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In some places, the vegetation is quite dense with elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat, from the adorable calves all the way up to the intimidating bulls. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we will head to our accommodation. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Maramboi Tented Lodge.

Head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Enjoy a game drive and take in the stunning views of the lake and surrounding forests.

Travel to the world-famous Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, home to cheetahs, leopards, and the Great Migration herds.

Enjoy a morning game drive in Central Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge to relax and enjoy the evening.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Use the afternoon to relax or explore the town before preparing for your Zanzibar journey.

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel for relaxation.

Take a half-day tour of Stone Town, exploring historic architecture and cultural sites. Then visit Prison Island to see giant tortoises and enjoy scenic coastal views.

Travel to Nungwi in northern Zanzibar, known for white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Enjoy optional activities such as snorkeling and dolphin tours.

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight.
